Poster 165: Non-Rigid Fixation Results in Higher Failure Rates Following Arthroscopic Glenoid Reconstruction

چکیده

Objectives: It has previously been established that screw fixation results in better outcomes than button for arthroscopic anatomic glenoid reconstruction (AAGR) with frozen allograft. There considerable debate on the causes higher dislocation rates non-rigid fixation. The purpose of this study was to evaluate which factors may affect failure AAGR Methods: This a retrospective review patients who had using were age-, gender-, and followup-matched patients. Arthroscopic videos used surgical including graft placement, quality, tensioning, contact, soft tissue quality repair, presence Hill-Sachs, addition Remplissage. Patient demographic (age, gender, medical history etc) also assessed. XRays CTs union, angle, remodeling, pull through. Results: A total 36 included our between 2014 2019 (18 matched 18 fixation). Seven requiring reoperation. Of these, 4/7 poor anterior tissue. All but one patient excellent repair balance at end surgery. seven complete resorption compared those did not fail normal post-operative A-P dimension. Conclusions: In case series, high rate recurrent dislocation. These failed appropriate equivalent dislocated successful correlated technique, or radiographic rather only type. Further is needed methods assess whether type impacts these clinical outcomes.

Chronic Osteomyelitis in the Femoral Midshaft Following Arthroscopic ACL Reconstruction

A 25 year-old man presented with pain, swelling, and intermittent drainage from distal lateral aspect of his left knee three months after undergoing isolated ACL reconstruction with arthroscopic hamstring autograft and endobottom technique. His surgeon at that time tried to eliminate the pathology through arthroscopic wash out in two attempts. However, the pain, edema, and discharge recurred ...

Arthroscopic Reduction with Endobutton Fixation for Glenoid Fracture

Glenoid rim fractures, accompanied by acute glenohumeral dislocation or subluxation usually results in persistent instability. Traditionally open reduction and internal fixation has been recommended in displaced intra-articular glenoid fractures. However, open reduction is difficult, and it may not be possible to address the associated intra-articular soft-tissue injuries. A few reports of arth...

Arthroscopic Posterior Glenoid Fracture Fixation Using Knotless Suture Anchors

Shoulder instability after a posterior glenoid rim fracture is rare and potentially difficult pathology to treat. Operative techniques often involve a large dissection to view the fragments resulting in local soft tissue injury. Internal fixation is often achieved with interfragmentary screws; however, this may not be possible with small or multifragmentary fracture patterns. We describe an art...
